Founded in January 2003, White Song, Incorporated, is a registered California corporation based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

White Song supports corporate endeavors to conduct business in foreign countries and with people from different cultural backgrounds. Services provided include localization; marketing, legal, software and web site translations in all major languages; and tools facilitating international travel, such as the books Beijing Show and Go! and Shanghai Show and Go!.

White Song Books focuses on multi-language books. In April 2010, we published Shanghai Show and Go!, the 2nd in the collection of Show and Go!™ travel guides—the innovative handy pocketbooks for international travelers. The 1st in the collection is Beijing Show and Go! published 2008. Other major cities in the collection will include Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Chongqing, Xi'an, Guilin, Taipei, and Moscow. Available is another unique book written in Chinese, A History of the Press in Hong Kong, which records the history of Hong Kong press from the late 18th to the early 19th century.

About Song C. White

Song White White Song's co-founder, Song C. White, started her business practice in 1999 as an independent contractor for U.S. corporations in the IT fields. Born and raised in China, Ms. White experiences include years in journalism as a Beijing and US-based journalist, a best selling book author, and in translation. She also spent 12 years in IT programming, database administration, data architecture and management. Ms. White is currently the president of White Song, Incorporated, which she co-founded in 2003.

Actively involved in community services, Ms. White has served on the boards of two non-profit organizations. From 2006 to 2008, she served as the Treasurer and a Board Member of Northern California Translators Association. From 2005 to 2007, she served as a Board Member of American Liver Foundation, Northern California Chapter. Ms. White earned a B.A. in Chinese Language and Literature and an M.B.A. with Information and Computing Management focus.

In June 2010, Song White was featured in the “On the Job" Career Profiles section by Charlotte Cusack, Bay Area News Group. Song talked about translators playing a key role to bridge the gap between people who otherwise have difficulties in communicating with each other.
