About the Author |

Ming Chen, born in Changsha City, Hunan Province, China. From 1949 to 1987, Mr. Chen held positions including the Representative of the Legal Person of the Hong Kong Asian Cultures Enterprises Ltd.; the member of the Editorial Board of the China News Service, the Executive Director of the China News Service Hong Kong Office, the Specially Appointed Person of the China News Service in Hong Kong; the Editor-in-Chief for China News Service Unit in Domestic News Department for Overseas Service of Xinhua News Agency and the Editor in International News Department of Xinhua News Agency; the member of the Editorial Board of Guangxi Daily, the member of the Provisional Administrative Council of the Nanning State Teachers College, and the Vice-Chairman of the Educational Council of the college. Mr. Chen was a middle school teacher from 1947 to 1948. He graduated from Guilin State Teachers College (later renamed Nanning State Teachers College, and now the Guangxi Normal University) majoring in history and geography. Mr. Chen retired in 1987. |
